'Ty Gilfach' is a stunning Grade II listed 250-year-old Farmhouse nestled in 50 acres of private grounds in the spectacular Snowdonia National Park and offers breathtaking views over neighbouring mountain Moel Hebog and beyond. Escape to the tranquil and picturesque Cwm Pennant valley set within the heart of Snowdonia National Park.

 Surrounded by mountain streams, this spacious Holiday Farmhouse is brimming with character and charm and has many wonderful features such as exposed beams, an inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove and dressed stone walls. There are three bedrooms (plus a playroom for the little ones!), allowing the property to sleep parties of up to six people. The charming gardens and grounds lead down to the river Dwyfor with stunning mountain views - a tranquil haven for friends or family!

‘Ty Gilfach’ is conveniently situated close to the harbour town of Porthmadog with its numerous shops, restaurants and bars and only a short distance from an array of gorgeous sandy beaches, historic castles, the Ffestiniog narrow gauge railway and Italianate Portmeirion.

It is also the perfect holiday retreat for those who just want to relax and get away from it all! Walk through the private bluebell woods, country footpaths, picnic and fish by the river Dwyfor....or pop the children in the playroom and just curl up with a book beside a log fire. The perfect family country cottage holiday!

"MAGNIFICENT FARMHOUSE, MAGNIFICENT VIEWS!" One can only say 'WOW' when opening the door for the first time! No expense has been spared by the owners - traditional and beautifully contemporary rolled into one! The original traditional oak beams, 3ft walls, wonderful fireplace and stove made us realise we had made the right choice! However the best was yet to come. The views in the morning when we woke up were astounding! No wonder the person who reviewed the cottage next door referred to Cwm Pennant as the 'UK's BEST KEPT SECRET!' For those who have little ones (our daughter is a teenager now) there is a wonderful little playroom just off the lounge. We would have loved it when she was small and so would she. It is winter now but the garden is lovely and the whole property set within 50 acres with its own river. There is no need to leave the valley with wonderful walks from the doorstep but we did venture further afield and visited Black Rock Sands beach, the Ffestiniog railway and Portmeirion. The area has so much to explore. The owners were warm and welcoming and we cannot recommend this holiday farmhouse more highly. We will be back! Thank you "

We've stayed in many places but none have been as lovely as this one. The attention to detail was fantastic - it seemed as though every eventuality had been thought about! Poli loves to cook on holiday and the kitchen had everything he could have needed. We really appreciated the comfy beds and waking up to that view was just magical.
