Plas Amherst accommodates 30 guests in 23 rooms (16 single and 7 twin, all include a wash basin and 14 also include a toilet). The property has been recently renovated and has plenty of showers and toilets near to the bedrooms.

The property is managed by Coleg Harlech WEA and is often used for group educational purposes, as such provides no-frills and no-fuss accommodation. The basic but clean standard of the accommodation is reflected in the budget price

There are two comfortable lounge areas one of which includes a Television and DVD.
Meals are provided for guests as required in the dining area which can seat up to 30 people at a time.

The property includes a commercial kitchen and we can provide catering for groups, guests have use of the fridge, kettles and microwave to make snacks. Please contact us to discuss your catering options. 

There is limited parking on site but if required cars may be parked on the college property nearby. A lift is available and there are some ground floor bedrooms which are suitable for guests with mobility problems.

Plas Amherst is ideal for large groups. Located in the Snowdonia National Park with views from some of the bedrooms of the Tremadog Bay, this is a perfect location for anyone wanting to enjoy the great outdoors. Harlech has a sandy beach with miles of safe sheltered bathing. The Royal St David's Golf Course  and Harlech Castle are both nearby.
