Ty Coch is a large detached farmhouse, sleeping up to 9, in a peaceful location between Beddgelert and Caernarfon close to the foot of Snowdon.

Accommodation details

This comfortably furnished self catering farmhouse is set in an attractive valley to the west of Snowdon. The accommodation was completely refurbished in 2002. There are 5 bedrooms (1 single, 1 twin, 2 double, and one with bunks), and 2 bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) - one of which has an electric shower.

There is a kitchen, utility/storage room, and a conservatory with seating and stunning views of the mountains. There are 2 lounges (both with mountain views), one of which features a woodburning stove for keeping warm on crisp winter evenings.

There is an enclosed area to the front of the house, and a large enclosed sunny garden to the rear with stream (unfenced), swing and ground level trampoline. One of the outbuildings has been converted into a games room with table tennis, a pool table, darts board, and cycle storage. There is a hot tub which is shared with the newly converted barn self catering unit.

Central heating is inclusive (set on timer extra - charge for extra heating).

The Local Area

The farmhouse and barn cottage are set on a 114 acre sheep farm, and visitors are able to walk in the fields and enjoy the marvellous views and tranquility of such a peaceful location.

Ty Coch and Hen Ysgubor and the caravan are ideally situated for exploring the whole of Snowdonia and the rest of North Wales. Local attractions include Caernarfon Castle, the steam railways (Welsh Highland Railway and the Snowdon Mountain Railway), and of course the natural beauty of the mountains, valleys and beaches. There is walking from the doorstep, and the mighty Snowdon is only a few miles from the farmhouse.
